Zuncho a la Colombiana

We had to design a special edition bottle for Colombiana, the most beloved carbonated drink in Colombia.

The bottle needed to reflect the identity of the Colombian Caribbean Region, we created a concept inspired by local zuncho weaving techniques with a modern twist. We designed a series of three bottles, each of them showcasing weaving patterns that represent, the sunsets, the music and the sports that make this Colombian region unique.

* To make this a more sustainable design, we recycled bottles to create the threads.

This concept made my partner and I win the Young Lions Design Competition in Colombia in 2016 and took us to Cannes to join the global competition. Such a fulfilling experience!
